(Case 00344119)
Pierre,
ActivInspire’s settings for “Dual Mode ActivBoards” govern how the software operates with touch-capable boards.
‘Touch Input Handling’ will tell the software how to treat touch input received by the computer (whether to ignore any touch input or to recognize touch input as it would input from an ActivPen, only use it to select objects, have separate tools for Touch and Pen input, or to recognize Touch and Pen input interchangeably)
‘Touch interoperability’ will determine whether touch input is processed using ActivInspire’s Settings or the settings of the Operating System, which may provide additional functionality.
You can also set a ‘Default tool for Touch’ input, if touch is enabled within the software.
The ‘Default object interaction mode’ will tell the software to allow interaction with objects through only pen or touch input, both types of input, or neither input method.
Checking the last two boxes will determine whether pages can be advanced though a gesture on the board and whether pan and zoom touch gestures are recognized by the software for selected objects.
