Possible fix for ActiVotes not lighting up (voting).
1. Remove the battery cartridge from the ActiVote Device.
2. Look inside the "shell" of the ActiVote and you should see two gold colored strips of metal.
3. Using the eraser from a pencil, rub the gold strips as if you were cleaning them.
4. Look at the battery cartridge and you should see two bent silver strips of metal with "dimples"
5. Rub these silver strips with the eraser as well.
6. Put the ActiVote back together.
