Instead of trying to open the file in the operating system, open the ActivInspire software. Look in the ‘File’ menu for an option called ‘Import’ and choose whether you would like the resource pack to go to “My Resources” (Available to only your user account on the computer) or “Shared Resources” (Available to all user accounts on the computer). Browse to the folder containing the .as4a file (the resource pack) in question, select the file, and click the ‘open’ button. The resources will then begin to import.
