There are settings in Activinspire that determines how it handles touch inputs. From what you're describing, I'm guessing this is what is happening. To change this setting, please go into File-Settings, look under Dual Mode Activboards, and change the setting for Touch Input Handling. I believe the one you'll want is either Ignore Touch or Use Touch Instead of Activpen; one of both of these should allow your touch input to work like a Mouse in Activinspire.
