when students text in the answer it is not matching the number on the clicker
When voting, ensure that Anonymous voting is toggled off using the below highlighted button:
This should allow the devices to highlight the name they were given during the naming process in ActivInspire’s device registration window instead of a randomly assigned number.
yesterday a student sent in her name and it showed up on 2 responses- 2 different expressions
In our experience, renaming the devices in ActivInspire’s Device Registration Window when this issue presents has shown to correct that behaviour, possibly in concert with removing and re-registering the devices. Please advise us if this is not the case for these devices.
some will respond and it will not register on the screen that they have submitted an answer
If using the latest version of ActivInspire (1.7.62196), we would recommend that the ActivDriver be up to date (downloadable from our Promethean Knowledge Base in article 10902) as well as the firmware on the ActivHub (Instructions on performing that update can also be found on the Knowledge Base, in article 10421) to ensure that all voting devices are recognized and vote properly within that software.
