Hello Michael,

 

The behaviour described is not normal with any model of ActivBoard.

 

Please advise us of the product code of the board on which the jagged lines are appearing, so we can focus our troubleshooting accordingly.

 

In general, we advise that following:

-       Verify which version of the ActivDriver is installed on the computer connecting to this board and the version firmware in place on the board.  This information can be found by choosing the ‘Control Panel’ option from the ActivManager menu (located near where the time and date are displayed on the computer), which will bring up a window like the one below

 

We can advise you of how to update either version, if needed.

 

-       If the USB connection to the board in question is utilizing any extension cabling, booster cabling, wallboxes or any other hardware, please by-pass them in favor of a more direct connection to the electronics on the board using only a single length of USB cable

 

 

-       Try to use a pen from a working board of the same model on this board to see if the behavior is limited to just the pen that was used.
