I used my activotes regularly. I've set them up and used them for years. Then one day - out of the blue - I could no longer give an activote quiz. It first says no activotes are registered - but they are according to the control panel. The settings are set to activote... So I re-register again and when I hit the green arrow to start voting --- nothing happens. The list of activotes and the timer pop up do not appear. It just sits there with the only thing I can do is hit that same button again - which at this point is a round gray button - for stopping the vote. I have tried everything including changing to another computer! Same problem. I reinstalled the activinspire software thinking that might help. No avail. The only thing I can think of is that something is not allowing that vote to start... Could it be the communication with the board? Could the firmware update have goofed up the configuration not allowing voting to pop open and work properly? Our school IT guy is at a complete loss...
Please tell me how to determine what firmware version my board is running on if that is something I need to give to you. My kids are so engaged when I use the activotes... they are such a huge part of my teaching process.
