It is Promethean's belief that replicating ActivInspire on an iPad or Android device will fail to meet the broad expectations set by the desktop version. While The iPad or Android is optimized for consuming content or fulfilling a specific use case, it’s screen size and ergonomics limit the array of content types, actions and constraints available when creating a flipchart that is inherent in the desktop version of ActivInspire. Additionally, the iPad or Android has technical limitations that make existing features like desktop annotate, embedding flash media, and running ActivExpression or ActivEngage sessions impossible.
