Can I ask for how long this projector has been installed and if anything happened to cause it to change the way it's displaying? It sounds as if it may have been reset at some point.
We may not be able to resolve the issue with the vertical lines in the image. I'd want to know for one thing whether it happens with no input (ie with VGA disconnected)- if not there's a problem with your input so you may want to start ensuring all of your intermediate connections are secure. If it does not, it may be worthwhile to do a factory reset of the projector through the menu and/or contact us directly for assistance.
If the vertical lines turn out to be resolvable, we can probably resolve the image alignment and image appearing off the screen. In the projector's menu, under settings (The picture of a wrench and screwdriver), there are settings for ceiling and rear projector mode which will look like the letter P in various alignments- Turn one of these on and the other off and you should be in good shape. As for the projector going off the side of the board, either it's been moved since it last worked correctly and would need to be physically adjusted in its mount or more likely it needs to have it's keystone setting adjusted using the keystone button on the remote.
