Promethean does not support the use of extenders or boosters especially with the 500 series boards that have the touch feature as the use of extenders and boosters can cause connectivity and touch related issues. We understand that the 6 foot cable may be impractical for teachers, but for the board to function as it was designed they will need to connect in this manner to resolve their issues.
