I work at the same school, and I am helping the Original Poster resolve this issue. We looked at the device manager and there are no errors or unknown devices. We have updated the driver and the activeinspire to the latest version.
Here's the behavior we see:
We start activinspire, and are able to register and use 4 activotes. This is behavior as we expect.
The problem we have:
However, when we exit activinspire and then restart it, there are 5 activevote devices listed, not the same as the 4 we previously registered. This is a problem because our teachers need to ask the kids to re-register the devices everytime they use the activotes, which isn't ideal.
How can we get the devices to be remembered so the teacher does not need to re-register the devices.
