I am a teacher and had been using Promethean Activeboard on Windows for a while. Last week, I migrated to Linux and installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Being totally new to Linux, I tried to find the tutorial on how to install Activinspire. I notice there are at least two posts on the same issue in this forum: one remains unanswered (in fact, the question was posted almost a year ago, on this page: http://community.prometheanplanet.com/en/forums/products/f/27/t/15787.aspx ) and the other one is too advanced for me (posted here: http://community.prometheanplanet.com/en/technical_support/forums/f/152/t/19250.aspx ).
Can anyone please, post a step-by-step guide on how to install Activinspire on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04) from the Ubuntu Software Center rather than from the Terminal, as I don't have any idea of how to use Terminal? Thanks..
