With regard to this issue, please could you confirm what model of ActivBoard you are using?
Are you using any wallboxes or connection panels at all? If you are, please could you connect your USB cable directly into the back of the ActivBoard itself, does the red X still appear?
Please ensure that your ActivManager (driver) is up to date, please go to www.PrometheanKB.com and search for article 10902 to download the latest.
