Dear Support,
One of our teachers recently received a new Windows 8.1 tablet PC. She has to one class in a room without an activboard this year, but she is still using the latest version of ActivInspire and is using the Tablet PC's stylus to annotate over her existing flipcharts. When she tries to write curvy lines (like parentheses), the software will turn the curves into lines. The shape recognition tool is not on. I have read through the forum posts, and most reports of problems pen behavior are solved with firmware, but since she is not even connected to a board in that classroom this year, I feel like the problem lies with the software. She was using version 1.8 of ActivInspire, but yesterday she upgraded to the latest 2.0 version on the Promethean website. The "curve to line" problem is worse. When she uses the Tablet PC stylus in other programs like WIndows Journal, curvy writing is smooth and clear.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
