You mentioned that another laptop works fine with the ActivBoard, this will mean that the ActivDriver on your computer may be out of date. Please download the latest version of ActivDriver from the link below.

Please ensure that you disconnect the USB cable going to the ActivBoard before installing the ActivDriver.
Should this not resolve the issue please check for errors in your Device Manager > Human Interface devices and update the drivers there and also try another USB port on the computer.
