In regards to your ActivBoard issue it sounds like a power issue, I have listed some trouble shooting steps below.
Please carry out these steps -
- Re-seat the mains power cabling at the mains supply socket and to the PSU and at the bottom corner of the ActivBoard 500
- Test connection of the PSU/System mains lead into a known working mains supply socket
- Test with another Mains Power Lead, if none available swap out the PSU and test
