Thanks for both posting on the forum.
With regard to this issue, I believe it is related to the flip charts originally being created on a computer with a larger screen resolution.
As the Surface pro 3 is a smaller screen the text will be slightly cut off until it is double clicked which will then adjust to this. You will only need to double click once to adjust the text to be correct and then you can save this. The next time you load that flip chart you will not need to adjust the text.
