Hi Telvia.

It sounds like you may have a setting which needs changing.

Please launch ActivInspire, and click on File>settings.

Under Dual Mode ActivBoard, please change "Touch input handling" from "Treat As Select Tool" to "Touch and ActivPen".

Please then press "Done". Please then re-select your pen/highlighter and try and use this. Does this now work?
