You can't "use" ActivInspire while doing other things, but you can display what was last displayed on the Activboard by using the Freeze button on the remote, and then can continue working on the computer checking email, etc. It's helpful if you have directions or words/math problems you want students to continue working on while you multi-task. It's really an overhead projector at that point.
