ChrisB,
Thank you for posting to the forums! There is no driver required to use the ActivPanel Touch for Windows. The only requirement is that you are using Windows XP SP3 or higher. What is your current operating system and version?
Does the customer get a video display on the ActivPanel Touch from the computer?
If you can get video, but no touch interactivity, please try a couple of things:
1. Reseat the USB cable that goes to the ActivPanel Touch, as well as where it plugs into the computer.
2. Reboot the computer and test with a different USB port on the computer, preferably one furthest from the original port used.
3. Try turning the lights off, and checking that the sensors along the border of the device are not obstructed.
4. If none of these steps help, please check the Windows Control Panel->Device Manager for any errors with any devices under the heading "Human Interface Devices." Did you see any yellow exclamation marks there?
5. Ensure power management has been disabled for USB controllers on your computer.
6. If you are running your USB cable through a connection panel or wallbox, we'd like for you to plug in directly from the computer, to the ActivPanel Touch. Do you get interaction then?
Please let us know if any of these tests help make the device work properly for you, and also if they do not.
