If when you turn the projector on and there is no light emitting from the lens your lamp is out. You need to replace your lamp. You will need to have your school replace the lamp as per your warranty. This is 3000 hours or three years. You will need the serial number to your projector. You need to go through the appropriate channels in your school. If you have a specific technical support person that handles the care of your board then request their support and let them know that the lamp is out due to no light coming from the lens. Also, give them the lamp hours as this must be given to the company. This will save them time from going to your school to make sure it is the lamp or not. Them they can place the order and come with the part to your school. Please refrain from removing the old lamp as the tech person replacing it will need to return it to the company as part of the warranty deal. Else the school will be billed for the lamp.

Once your lamp is replaced, the tech person should turn it on to make sure everything is in working condition and update settings in the menu for the projector.
