ActivInspire professional edition allows the use of the sound recorder feature which you can use. To ensure that the settings are correct in ActivInspire, please go to file>settings>recordings. Please ensure that 'Record Audio' is ticked, and that the sound recording is set to how you wish to save it.
To make sure that your microphone is also set up correctly, if you are using a Windows operating system you will need to right click on your speaker icon in the system tray and click on 'Recording devices'. Make sure the correct microphone is chosen if you have multiple. You can also configure it from this.
If you are using a Mac operating system, you will need to go to System Preferences>Sound>Input. From here you can test if your microphone is detecting your voice.
Once you load ActivInspire, you can go to Tools>More tools>Sound Recorder. You can record here and once finished you will be given the option to save it to your flipchart and a small sound icon will appear so you can click and play.
