Hello. I am a new Mac user and have been reluctant to spend time using my Mac with the ActivInspire because there seems to be little issues that keep popping up that are annoying. One that I really would like to figure out has to do with embedding video. I have Youtube videos embedded and it won't allow me to make it full screen or to select a place on the video to start from/view again. Our school does have a "clean search" filter for YouTube but I embedded the links using that search so they do work. I find it very frustrating. Any suggestions on how to gain control of the videos so you can start/stop/rewind using the controls and to make it full screen? I would attached the file so anyone that wants to take a look could, but I am not seeing where that option is. Thanks for you help

Hello Kristi,

Which version of the ActivInspire software is the YouTube video being embedded on a flipchart page and in which version of OS X is the ActivInspire software installed?

When embedding that YouTube Video, please ensure that “http:” is added to the code being embedded.

For example, where the embed code would normally be:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/DXAva_gO8Qk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

You would add the “http:” between the “src=”” and the “//www.youtube.com….” so that it looks like the following (text highlighted for emphasis only):

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DXAva_gO8Qk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
