I am unsure of your setup, but from what I can gather, you should make sure that ActivInspire is the latest version. Also make sure you have the Aver software installed and all relevant drivers if any.
Once you go to Insert > From Scanner / Camera you should have AverPlus I believe as a source.
Note that I can't test this myself since we do not have any Avervision Hardware at Promethean.
