It sounds like you are using the AppleTV instead of VGA and ActivHub to provide a wireless connection instead of a USB cable to provide a completely wireless connection to the ActivBoard. This works, but since the computer does not have an ActivHub connected, you cannot start a voting with Promethean hardware. The only way I could see this working is if your devices were ActivEngage 2 clients using wifi. ActiVotes and ActivExpressions require a 2.4 GHz ActivHub connected to your computer. My experience with this AppleTV is that it is cool that it works, it only kind of works. The resolution doesn't match (or at least it didn't for me with my projector and board) but more importantly there was a definite lag. I gave up on trying to use the technology this way. I just figured it wasn't designed to work this closely together. It was designed for an HDTV and watching videos, not for interactive student centered lessons. I admit it is close, but different enough to make me use the technology the way it was intended. Just my humble opinion.
