Thanks for the posts and I'll respond in this thread rather than the other.
Different models of our boards have different LED indications. For example, an AC3 board's light will turn light blue when the board detects a pen in range, but an AC2 board should only turn blue when connected via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, I don't know what type of board you're using and I'm not certain I understand the indications you're describing above in either context.
Without having much information, I can suggest that it may be worthwhile to power cycle the board, cycle the USB connection to the computer, and to test with a different computer especially if you can locate one which works with other boards of the same model.
