We have an issue with using the Whiteboard in PowerPoint. The cursor is not lined up with the pen while in Slide Show mode. Upon exiting Slide Show mode, the cursor is ok. Calibrating the board does not resolve the issue. We are using ActivDriver v5.10.14 and Microsoft Office 2011 v14.4.5
Can you help us with this?

Good morning, When trying to connect my Promethean ActivBoard, it detects it's there in the manager, however when I click connect it gets to 30-45% before stopping and saying no. Any ideas? Thanks, Nick

Your Mac is probably not set up to "mirror" the main display. What is projecting is likely the secondary display area. This is a common, but confusing situation. The situation is not unique to Yosemite.

To resolve, under System Preferences, go to "Displays" and there is box to check to "mirror" your displays.

Folks,

I have been trying to install a Visual Presenter AV322 and the ActiView software (v5.0.4) in Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. I don't have much luck. I have connected the cables according to the instructions (VGA cable from the computer to VGA IN, VGA cable from VGA OUT to the projector, and the USB cable) and I have installed the ActiView software.

When the AV322 is in standby (red light is lit) then the signal passes through from the computer to the projector, and I can also access the 50 Mb USB memory in the AV322. But as soon as I turn the AV322 on (blue light is lit, and the lamp is also lit) then the signal to the projector disappears, and the 50 Mb USB drive also disconnects. It is as if the world is upside down... :-)

And when the AV322 is in standby, and I start the ActiView program, then I can turn the AV322 on from the program, which means that the software is aware of the AV322's existence. But when I turn it on, everything stops working, and the only function available in ActiView is "Settings". And the camera never shows any image, I always see a black window where the live image should be.

Any pointers in the right direction are appreciated!

Hi Kristen.  No I have not gotten mine connected.  PC computers can, but for whatever reason, my Macbook won't.  I was kind of hoping the problem could've been solved because there are tons of things I would like to do in my classroom, but can't because the board won't work.

Michelle, having had several boards with same problem- try disconnecting at the back of the board.  Somehow this allows drivers to update and computer to find board again.

Am in UK.  Have checked for updates and all up to date.  The calibration tab works and will display the correct screen.   Have shut off power and disconnected everything before trying again, as when boards have lost their drivers before this has reinstalled them.  Orange light is on pens work but wont interact with the calibration points.  Clicking the button on pen takes me back to main comp screen.

New to Pomethean boards- any advice please as pen is out of sync with handwriting?
