Chris,
One last thing to try would be to turn the lights off in the room while attempting to power off/on the projector. At times, the fluorescent lights can interfere with the IR sensor of the projector.
The Menu/Image reset trick won't work on this model projector, only on the LCD projectors.
If turning off the lights does not help, please contact Tech Support via the knowledge base at www.prometheankb.com, select Projector/ Contact Us. In the Existing case field please input case number 213325 and provide the serial number of the projector.
