Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, this did not help: I uninstalled, reinstalled while all cables (except for power cord) were unplugged and I still could not see ActivBoard in the ActivManager.
Another teacher on campus has the same Promeathean ActivBoard and has been using it for years. When connected to my ActivBoard, her ActivPen worked perfectly fine. I checked to compare her Taskbar to mine: I noticed that she has a working older version of ActivManager (version 5.7.22) but not the ActivControl icon (I do have both the ActivManager and ActivBoard icons on my Taskbar and so, I am not sure if that has anything to do with the issue).
